Keepsy is a private journal on your iPhone. You choose a photo, write a few lines, and keep the chapter in a collection on this device. There is no account and no Keepsy server for your writing or photos.
Chapters, photos, collections, display name and avatar are stored on this iPhone. Removing the app or using Delete Account erases that material from the device. Keepsy does not sync your journal to other devices.
Keepsy uses the camera when you tap Take Photo, your photo library when you tap Choose Photo, and the microphone when you tap Dictate. Those permissions are requested only after you tap the matching button.
Memories are consumable in-app items sold through Apple. One Memory finalizes one chapter. Unlocking certain papers also spends Memories. Unused Memories stay on this iPhone and are not restored after the app or its data is removed.
Crew stories and messages that ship with the app are scripted samples. They are not a public network and are not sent anywhere.
Use Keepsy for your own memories. Do not use it to store material you are not allowed to keep on this device.
